Is there parking at the markets? 

Refer to our Market page for parking details at each location.

Will the market be open if it’s raining? 

Markets are open rain or shine but may adjust hours or close if conditions are extreme or dangerous. For the most current updates, check out your market's Instagram page — refer to your favorite market for detailed information or view our Markets here.

Can I make a market order online?

Do you offer refunds? 

Food Access LA does not offer refunds on merchandise purchased at the information booth. Our market vendors are owner-operated businesses and each has their own refund policy. Please notify the vendor if issues arise.

Can I use a credit or debit card? Or is it cash only? 

Most vendors accept debit and credit cards or Venmo, Zelle, etc. ATMs are also available at the Hollywood and Atwater Village Farmers’ Markets. The Crenshaw Farmers’ Market is located next to a US Bank; the Echo Park Farmers’ Market is across the street from a Bank of America.  

Can I use my EBT or WIC card at the market? 

EBT benefits (CalFresh, out-of-state EBT, and P-EBT) are accepted at all of our farmers markets. WIC CVB benefits, or eWIC cards, are currently only accepted at our Central Avenue and Echo Park Farmers’ Markets. Are the markets open on holidays? 

Markets are open most holidays but regularly closed Thursday – Friday on Thanksgiving weekend and on Christmas. Check your favorite market’s Instagram for updates.

Can I bring my dog or pet? 

Only service animals trained to perform a service for someone with a disability are allowed in the farmers market. Farmers markets are food facilities certified by the LA County Department of Public Health, just like restaurants and grocery stores. per CA Retail Health Code, CHAPTER 12 (d), pets are not allowed.

Should I bring my own shopping bag? 

Yes! We encourage shoppers to bring their own bags and reusable containers. If you forget a bag, or have extra bags that need a new home, you can take part in our “Bring a Bag, Take a Bag” program at our info booths.   

Are there kid-friendly events? 

We are kid-friendly! Check out the Market page to access Instagram updates and our nutrition and cooking class calendar for special events offered for kids at each market. 

How can I apply to be a vendor?

How much does it cost to be a vendor?

Vendors are charged a percent of gross sales. To learn more, visit our Vendors page.

Can I perform music? 

Check in with the farmers market information booth at your desired location as musician spots are only available on a case-by-case basis and may not be available at all markets.
