“FRUITFUL COLLABORATION BENEFITS ALL AT ATWATER VILLAGE FARMERS’ MARKET”

— Edible San Gabriel Valley

Launched in June of 2005, the Atwater Village Farmers’ Market continues to thrive; Atwater Village Farmers’ Market hosts more than two dozen of Southern California’s highest quality producers, including organic farms like Givens, Sunrise, McFarlin, Fruit Fairy and Kenter Canyon Farms.

Hot food and staple grocery items are available too, including vegetarian and vegan options. Enjoy specialty items like hummus, pickles, salsas, jams, sauces, spreads, breads and more. The market is ADA compliant, complete with a dining area and live music by local musicians.

Customers can also drop their food scraps from home with LA Compost to be processed locally and turned into finished compost that will enrich soils for food growing and greening projects throughout the city. The market encourages patrons to bring their own cups, plates, and even cutlery when dining in at the market. We also offer reusable market cups for customers to use when enjoying a drink at the market. Blu Jam Café, our community partner, will wash and sanitize the cups to be reused the following week.

At the market, you can use your EBT benefits to purchase your groceries, which are matched through the GUSNIP and LA County ARP Market Match program, up to $60 a month/$15 a week for fresh fruits and vegetables. WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program checks (FMNP) are also accepted. Stop by the information booth for more details.

Parking Information:

AVFM is accessible by foot/bike via LA river path and surface streets as well as by Metro and multiple bus lines. Customers can also access the market by car.

Parking is permitted in surrounding residential and commercial streets.

Please note that due to the market, Larga Avenue is effectively a dead-end street. Please look elsewhere for parking so as not to disturb neighbors. Local access only on Larga Avenue.

We are working on additional parking options.
