— Spectrum News

Launched in November 2022, Food Access LA’s Compton College Farmers’ Market serves the Compton College students and faculty as well as the greater Compton Community.

The Compton College Farmers’ Market hosts regional farmers like JM Produce, C&L Farms, and Angelo Ranch. The market also features local Compton and South Los Angeles-based food vendors such as Pucker Up Lemonade, Fun Time Kettle Corn and more!

EBT benefits are matched dollar for dollar up to $20 with funds from the LA County ARP Market Match program. Compton College students receive $20 market dollars weekly to purchase produce, hot and prepared foods, and more. WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program checks (FMNP) are also accepted. Stop by the information booth for more details!
