Social Wellness: Developing your sense of connection, belonging and a well-developed support system.

The Social Wellness Dimension involves having healthy relationships with friends, family and the community, and having an interest in and concern for the needs of others and human kind.

Social Wellness Practices include:

  • Developing a community by finding groups to connect with around common areas of interest and support.

  • Spending quality time with friends and family by getting together in person, by phone or video call.

  • Getting out to meet people with common interests such as hobbies, topics of interest and volunteer activities.

  • Making a point of seeking out people and networking for work, community service or fun.
